How to Make Cold Porcelain? (Part II)

Cold Porcelain


  •  Put the vynil glue and de cornstarch in a teflon saucepan
  • Mix the elements till they are integrated. Use a wooden spoon
  • Add the other elements
  • Put the mixture over direct low heat for approximately 15- 20 minutes
  • It will become thick. Then the mixture begins to look like ricotta
  • When the dough gets apart from the edges and the bottom of the saucepan, remove it from heat
  • Knead it over the work surface until it gets cold
  • Put it in a plastic bag. Then store the porcelain clay in a plastic airtight container out of the fridge
  • After 24 hours, it will be ready to work with

  •  1 kg vynil glue for porcelain
  • 500 gr. cornstarch
  • 1 tsp. sodium benzoate or formol
  • 1 tsp. lemon
  • 2 tsp glycerin
  • 3 tsp baby oil
